The day I made banana bread

September 13, 2010

I should’ve been glad that all the mid-semester exams and assignments are over — at least for now. But this strange emptiness kind of replaced it moments after I realised that I had nothing left to do. Nothing to study for (arguably ..), no deadlines to meet, no upcoming anything. It’s weird isn’t it ? Some people, like my sister, are okay with having nothing to do. I’m worried that I’m becoming one of those ‘have to keep busy’ types. Or maybe I already am. I mean I like my free time, it’s true. . however .. I guess the two stark contrasts of being horribly busy for the past few weeks and then suddenly free, has  put me in an awkward place.  Do you ever feel like that ?

Enough talk. A week ago, my iPod shuffled this song and I re-embraced DCFC.

Oh, and I forgot to add this photo to the last post. Don’t scream (Nicole). I look like one of those strange, alien Japs in those experimental rock bands. Well, at least I know you don’t like me for my looks.

Is it bad that I totally dig the look?

    Hmmm…

I wish I had all the free time in the world…

(probably not the right forum for this but oh well…)
Is it bad that your comment makes me really glad I’m not with you anymore?

Though I do wish the same thing… take advantage of it Mel, it’s a very rare period of time… read, bake, sing, dance or just be still… so many options :).
